Through this attempt the creative team has successfully portrayed the fate of the rural Indian women who still suffer in the name of power and greed. The music, the songs in, and the title song of Na Aana is Des Laado has also led to popularity of this show.
The serial started with story that seemed to involve forceful killing of female feticide but has since then been also exploring into other atrocities which has been shown as the fate of the women living under a heartless village head Ammaji portrayed by actress Meghna Malik. The village of Veerpur is under the claws of the power greedy woman who does not want to have any female child in her village and extends the same cruelty to woman in her household. The character of Sia, who is the daughter of a doctor and eventually goes on to become the daughter-in-law of Ammaji did shows some resistance and stand up against all the evil deeds. Natasha Sharma does a wonderful work as the character of Sia.
The serial has taken many interesting turns which have kept the TRP high and many following it dedicatedly.
