“Race 2” is about to hit the floors and the actresses of the previous part have most probably been chucked out of the sequel. After Katrina Kaif was rejected for the sequel and Kareena was chosen over her, now it is Priyanka Chopra’s turn to scorch the screen instead of Bipasha Basu. However, Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor are reprising their roles in the sequel too.
According to a source, “Katrina’s absence was almost certain because her character in Race dies, but Bipasha’s absence is certainly surprising.”
“Priyanka still has to complete Saat Khoon Maaf. She will then move on to Don 2 and the TV Series Fear Factor 3. But she is excited about the character she’ll play in Race 2 and is working out her dates for the project,” a source close to Priyanka informed.
Buzz is that the producer Ramesh Taurani and directors Abbas-Mustan are planning to make a sequel an even more slicker and sexier fast paced movie than the first part.
