Anushka would be soon releasing two of her films back to back, after she proved her worth through Arundhati. The much awaited Vedam, which was scheduled to launch during May was given a later release date,
and a result of which led to the late release in June 3rd. The controversial film depicts her as a prostitute, and is a definitely difficult role which she apparently carries off with aplomb. And on June 4th, 2010, her other film Panchakshari would be released. Directed by V Samudra, this film has already got people talking. Anushka is definitely very interested in seeing the results of her two films. In Vedam she is seen with other characters, who are rock stars and cable operators, and it is a strong take on reality apparently. On the other hand, Panchakshari, written by Madhu, has the supernatural concept of the three forms of the soul. Apparently, these three versions are called Aatma, Jeevatma and Paramaatma. Also, the story would have a lot of graphical work which is an added highlight to the film. Apparently her role is going to be intense, and she is looking forward to the reactions from the audience.
