Lady Gaga is furious with Fox as the network didn’t telecast her entire performance on American Idol. The singer has taken it as insult and turned to twitter to denounce the move.
“FOX POORLY + AMATEURLY edited+cut my performance/musical arrangement on idol. Watch real version. http://bit.ly/apyBrH,” she tweeted.
According the E Online the controversy surrounding performance doesn’t spring from her revealing outfits as perceived by most. The 24 year old singer actually performed two singles; “Alejandro” and the hit number “Bad Romance” during the taping. But during the telecast viewers were shown only the “Alejandro”performance.
But now question is being asked as to why American Idol would drop “Bad Romance” which is the most popular single on YouTube. Consequently there is speculation that Gaga’s “Bad Romance”performance was not suitable for family viewing as Idol is the most watched show in America so producers decided to air only the “Alejandro” portion.
Idol representatives haven’t released any official statement to clarify why the part of the performance was omitted. But some insiders claim that the omission has nothing to do with Lady Gaga’s performance or outfits. “It was because of time,” a source tells E Online.
