Neil Nitin Mukesh, with his dashing good looks and golden curls, is the grandson of yesteryears singer Mukesh.
After completing his graduation in commerce from H.R. College, he did not follow his father’s and grandfather’s step to become a singer. Instead he trained at Kishore Namit Kapoor’s and Anupam Kher’s acting institutes to hone his skills as an actor and made his debut as the ambitious and smooth talking murderer, Vikram in Sriram Raghavan’s Johnny Gaddaar. He held his own against stalwarts such as Dharmendra and Vinay Pathak in the movie and his confident debut earned him rave reviews. With music being the family heritage, he is a trained singer and will sing in his forthcoming movie ‘Freeze’. Neil is often compared to Hrithik Roshan because he is tall and lean with sharp features and the newcomer loves the compliment.
His nickname is Blue, because his mom calls him that and in his spare time, playing the piano makes him happy. He also made his ramp debut at the 2007 Lakme India Fashion Week
