The format of the show this season, has undergone a few changes. Both male and female contestants will be put together in the same dorm. Every week, there will be one captain chosen from among the 14 contestants, who will be in the safe zone. He/she will have the power to nominate a contestant, who by default will become a part of the elimination list of the week.
The list of 14 contestants of Big Boss 4 are as follows:
1.Model Aanchal Kumar adds to the oomph quotient inside the Bigg Boss house. She is best known for her rumoured link-up with cricketer Yuvraj Singh. Aanchal acted in the films 'Bluffmaster' and 'Fashion'.
2.Abbas Kazmi is the former lawyer of Mumbai terror attacks accused Mohammad Ajmal Kasab.
3.Ameesha Patel's brother Ashmit is best known for his involvement in an MMS sex scandal with actor Riya Sen.
4.Begum Nawazish Ali
The host of a hugely popular Pakistani TV show, Ali Saleem is a cross-dressing actor and scriptwriter.
5.Devinder Singh
Devinder Singh who goes by the alias Bunty, is a former thief-turned-detective and the inspiration behind the film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!
6.Hrishant Goswami
Hrishant Goswami is a model and the winner of 2004 Gladrags Manhunt contest.
7.Manoj Tiwari
