Zahra Habib and Maliha Jamal are medical students and old friends. Their friendship dates back to their college days. Zahra comes from a lower middle class family and is grappling with all kinds of problems at home. Maliha on the other hand belongs to an affluent family. Her parents are doctors by profession and have a great relationship with their children. Both of them really value their friendship.
Their relationship suffers first major setback when Junaid tells Maliha about his interest in Zahra and his intentions to marry her. Maliha is not able to digest her brother’s interest in Zahra as she feels betrayed by her.
