Biography: Genelia was born in England. However, her parents are from Goa. Genelia did her schooling from Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra and completed her Commerce graduation from St. Andrews College, Mumbai.
Genelia has acted in over of a dozen South Indian films and her acting has won her many awards too. However, in Bollywood even after she made her debut opposite Riteish Deshmukh in Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003) after which she managed to sign only one movie i.e Masti. But probably, in 2008 she has many other good movies lined up for release like Priyadarshan’s Mere Baap Pehle Aap and Aamir Khan’s productions Jaane Tu….Ya Jaane Na which would eventually change fortunes for Genelia.
